EET Willpower Is Not Needed – GUARANTEED

EET uses PROGRESSIONS to give you a very high probability of long term success. Progressions are a GUARANTEED way to make you take action.

GUARANTEED you say? But you have always failed at other diet plans becauase you don’t have the willpower to overcome your cravings, right?  You’re simply not motivated to exercise either.  How can EET GUARANTEE I can make it work without willpower or motivation?

Consider this:

If I guarantee you that you will meet your goal weight and never gain any of it back if you were to memorize the ENTIRE phone book from A-Z, would you try?

Didn’t think so.  Ok then

If I guarantee you that you will meet your goal weight and never gain any of it back if you were to memorize the phone number of everyone who’s last name begins with the letter A only, would you try?

Still too much work? Fair enough, how about this?

If I guarantee you that you will meet your goal weight and never gain any of it back if you were to memorize the phone numbers of  JUST THE FIRST NAME listed under the letter A, would you try?

Still nothing?  Man, you weren’t kidding about being unmotivated!  I won’t give up though 🙂 :

If I guarantee you that you will meet your goal weight and never gain any of it back if you were to go and GET the phone book from the drawer you normally keep it in and place it on the table in front of you, would you try?

BET I GOTCHA!

If you break down a task to it’s smallest component, your liklihood of taking action on that task increases dramatically.

EET calls this process of doing what you BELIEVE you can handle right now and only adding additional steps when you believe you can handle them PROGRESSIONS.

What the heck does this have to do with weight loss? Try this:

There are 10 cookies left in the box, I’ll try to stop after eating just one.

Yeah, right.

There are 10 cookies left, I’ll eat 5 of them and stop.

Maybe.

There are 10 cookies left, I’ll eat 5 now and the other 5 tomorrow morning.

Now you’re using eating timing!  Oh wait, still not ready for that progression?

There are 10 cookies left, I’ll eat 9 now and the other one tomorrow morning!

Works for EET – we all gotta start somewhere and at least you didn’t eat all 10 – how much willpower did that take?!

This is why you never have to stop using EET. EET’s guidelines always recommend you use progressions to incorporate them into your lifestyle. You never take on more than you are ready to handle.

Why?

Because you are busy. Because you have formed lifestyle habits that are difficult to break all at once. Because everyone should be given time to adapt to change if they want that change to be permanent.
