Dr. Amy — Loving her newfound fitness with EET. Saturday, she puts it to the test!
Dr. Amy, M.D. (sure, EET will brag that we have DOCTORS who are using EET–wouldn’t you?) has been learning the timing guidelines of The EET Fitness Plan since the begining of 2011.
She’s had lost over 10 lbs in about 3 months using EET with very little exercise. In early April she wanted to “ramp things up a bit” so she started sending more updates. Mr. EET LOVES the updates! But EETers who send them love them even more–because really good things usually start to happen! Case in point:
Buried in one update was the following little harmless note:
I am working on running (or walk/running) a 5K in 4 wks. I’ve been running some, outside and on the treadmill, and can go a mile fine, but 3+ miles might be a stretch in 4 weeks. I’m doing it, though, even if I have to walk some.
To Mr. EET that translated into:
OH, IT’S ON!
Surely Dr. Amy had read EET’s riveting fitness adventures:
So 5k in 4 weeks — PIECE OF CAKE! Just like Mrs. EET’s Half Marathon Training Plan! 🙂

I asked Dr. Amy if she was cool with me telling everyone she followed EET’s TRAINING PLAN for the 5k and that the race was this coming weekend — I want to put EET to the test just like in our prior successes by letting all know in advance that Amy’s running with a goal to
FINISH THE ENTIRE 5K WITHOUT STOPPING
Here’s what EET’s rising superstar had to say in response to that:
Sure, no problem…..(I edited out some talk about how fast she is now–EET wants her to SLOW DOWN–SHE’S TOO FIT!!!!) :-)….
Regardless, I’m excited for Saturday-no pressure :), just motivation.

Amy’s training plan has not been the two months of endless slow plodding suggested by the folks over at The Couch-5k Running Plan.
Nope — EET would never waste all that TIME–EET’S TRAINING PLAN FOR DR. AMY:
EXACTLY 2 TRAINING RUNS along with EET’s 20 minute workouts 4 times a week to prepare in just ONE MONTH!
Next week — however it goes, she has agreed to write a blog post about how the training went and how the race goes.
AND AMY CAN ALSO DISCUSS HOW SHE’S CLOSING IN ON 20 LBS OF WEIGHT LOSS!
